Yacon Syrup

Yacon (Smallanthus sanchifolius) has been traditionally used by the Andean people in Peru as a natural medicine and is currently recognized as a great pre-biotic source due to its high FOS (Fructo-oligosacchrides) content.

The studies that have been performed on yacon show that our bodies are unable to digest the sugars found in yacon. As a result yacon is ideal for diabetics as it helps with the regulation of blood sugar levels. Yacon is also rich in dietary fiber and is able to control cholesterol and triglyceride levels.

In Canada we can supply Yacon syrup in 25-30 kg buckets, as well as, 250 ml jars.
